Junior fitness

The importance of junior fitness is significant. Yes, golf isn't a cardiovascular sport but it is mental and physically draining to focus 18 holes then also to do that in four days. At ANK we have designed a fitness program for juniors to not only help their golf swing but physical athleticism. Golf has evolved over the last decade, players have to be athletic and stronger to reach the optimise distance. Playing back to back tournaments and going through the mental stress of four day tournaments physical training is important.

For juniors, we worked on core and a lot of rotational movement using the same muscles as golf. Engaging in the core muscle and quick rotational movement to trigger golf muscles.
