KARIS STORY
Karis Anne Davidson
"2017 - I love training with AnK Golf because I feel like I’m getting better at golf everyday. The coaches at AnK, are very helpful and the whole team is supportive of my practice and tournaments. I have tremendous respect for all the team members, who bring to the team the positive vibe and atmosphere. Not only has being a part of this great team been good for my golf, but also my life in general because it enables me to learn about different cultures and personalities that I will encounter as a LPGA Tour Professional. Also having a physiotherapist for the team has been very helpful to everyone, ensuring that our bodies are in good condition for the hard work and training that the team undergoes. I hope to continue to be with AnK Golf for a long time!"
Congratulations to our athlete, Karis Davidson, who announced she would be turning professional, following her phenomenal success at the 2018 Japan LPGA qualifying test. Karis progressed through all fourstages of the gruelling qualifying test against a tough field of world-class competitors. Karis has now gained full playing status for the 2018 Japan LPGA season which begins in March. The Japan LPGA is one of the toughest in women’s golf and consists of 34 Events with total prize money of approximately $35 million.
Before her success in the 2018 Japan LPGA qualifiers, Karis was a former Australian and Queensland Representative. Karis has been playing golf with AnK for over ten years. She is a friendly all-rounder with a strong commitment to succeed. Karis has been a great role model for other students in the academy.
AnK is incredibly proud of Karis Davidson. We wish her well in her professional golf life and will continue to support her as she takes the golf world by storm! Well done, Karis!
