While the boys were Playing the Gary Player Junior Classic the girls played the Katherine Kirk Classic. The Katherine Kirk Classic was formerly the Queensland Girls' Stroke Play Championship. It is an Australian Girls' Ranking Event. It is open to girls under the age of 18 years, and is played over 54-holes stroke play.
