Our students are really enjoying pilates classes every Monday morning. It is truly working on the needed muscle to engage in core and strength. Developing the core and balance to have a more efficient and consistent swing. The balance of the body and the ability to engage the muscle is very important to being a high-performance golfer for a long period of time.
Also, fitness training in the gym has been updated to be more explosive and the use of quick muscle fibres. We started the training with a good stretch of our full-body and focused on explosive lower body movement. Bringing the energy from the feet with full power rotation and explosive like high jump was the main key factor we worked on. Golfers in this generation need to be athletic to handle all the competition and travelling being ready. Keep pushing the body to reach its maximum potential and capacity.
